coffee tale

this café aka vintage store in victorian style is just one big amazing space - you can find it in the middle of brick lane, london - and i promise - if you ever have a chance to visit - it will be one big amazing most comfortable and enjoyable travel to the past you have ever experienced - oh, have you ever ? --- you get a wonderful yet not at all expensive coffee - same with the delicious cakes they offer there - you will be served by very beautiful people, even meet cute animal friends. it is for sure - during these frigid winter days - once you find some empty and extremely cosy victorian chair - you will not want to leave that space at any cost.

/one could say the colours in all pictures turned out to be way too bright - but - you know - they only emphasize the warmth and friendly atmosphere that cover this fairytale-ish place. so i left them the way they were.

/hope i will manage to go there once again for a coffee and delicious cake before my flight back home for christmas...

oh, time flies. indeed.

it was amazing to spend nights out with her again - in london this time. we went to see her several times, in different places where she was performing her spoken word / thanks to her i always see great places and meet great people and -what's the most important- i realise that life is great the way you make it. the way you live it. that things you love and enjoy doing give you energy and power to overcome, to keep going, to fight - and do not give up. thank you, gaby. <3

ok. this roll is like one year old // so my last post seems to be, right / it has been my first (and so far the only) diapositive film roll ever tried. i gave it to my father in june this year to let it develop back at home (as it was impossible to let your diapositives develop and scan in sweden). here comes some of the results. i love the colours btw --- dare say it was not the last roll of expired dia-roll i tried out.

if you were me

to start, i have to emphasize that these pictures have not been taken by me. jennie, my dearest, is the photographer here / the photos were taken during our stay in the north of sweden. / today, i feel like showing them to you for several reasons / first, i am still being very busy. working and studying -both full time- is not the best, not at all. so i can hardly find some time to select more pictures of mine. but sooner or later i will get back to normal. i hope at least. / second, jennie has not created any blog, flick page or website - any place where she could show her pictures to the rest of the world. which is a pity, i say, and i want to show you her work so you might comment on it and maybe make her create a site you could admire. / third, me and jennie just agreed on the date for her london visit. in the middle of november. i can't wait. / fourth, beautiful memories. as simple as that.

i know. i have been a terrible blogger this month. but, to be honest, it is not only my blog what i am missing out. i can't even tell how long my to-do-list is right now. nothing has been crossed out. seriously. i have no idea where does the time go. if you have some to spare, i would greatly appreciate to take use of it. i would put it all in my photographs, you know.

ok. i do apologise for these long-time-post-gaps. terrible me. and, you know, i am not even that busy [!] but feeling better and having people on visits here in london. so one does not spent so much time at the computer. // as far as this post, i have finally found some time to select photos from field day festival from the begining of august. this delay speaks for itself. seriously, i'll try to better myself.

..when sick, you don't really feel like staring at your computer and working with pictures. you leave it. you just drink tea, eat garlic in any form and stay in bed - you do nothing [!] how sad. how true. can't help it. well, everyday i do feel better. but still - for now - some of my swedish memories again. nothing i would regret -smile- // second london volume soon-ish //

finally, some pieces from my stay in london. there will be more sections coming. so, keep yourself tuned. // yesterday, i came back from my trip to czech. i wish i could have stayed longer. as i always do. but it feels great to be back in london, too. without any doubts.
